Shree Yantras Clear Quartz Crystal (3/4" - 1") - 1pc.
Product Description
Shree Yantra (also Sri Yantra, Shri Yantra) is an ancient geometrical pattern used in Tibet and India for centuries to bring about peace, harmony, good luck and prosperity. Shree (Sri, Shri) means “wealth” and Yantra means “instrument or tool” in Sanskrit; hence, the Shree Yantra is an instrument of wealth and abundance. Shree Yantras in 3-dimensional, crystal forms are composed of 9 intertwining triangles that form a pyramid. Four of the triangles point upwards, representing Shiva or the Masculine, and five point downwards, representing Shakti or the Feminine. Together they represent the union of Masculine and Feminine. The nine triangles are interlaced in such a way as to form 43 smaller triangles in a web symbolic of the entire cosmos, a lotus of eight petals, a lotus of sixteen petals, and an earth square resembling a temple with four doors surround this. It is also a symbol of radiant white light energy; the crystal acts as a catalyst and a conductor of energy. It can be used to cleanse the atmosphere of large areas - our homes or places of work, our own personal healer for the body, as well as transformer for the spirit. It helps our intuitive insight, to see the light in the darkness. When laid on the body, the Crystal Shree Yantra can dissolve the blocks that impede the flow of energy. Quartz crystal Shree Yantras can also be used in Feng Shui practices – place one in the “wealth” corner of your home – as well as for everyday use. Place a Shree Yantra crystal pyramid in your home or office to enhance prosperity and abundance. To cleanse, wash the crystal in salt water and rinse. Lighting a candle/incense nearby on a regular basis is thought to enhance the crystal's properties. Primary Chakra: ALLAstrological Sign:&nb

The Big Fish: Consciousness as Structure, Body and Space. (Consciousness, Literature & the Arts S.)
Product Description
While debate continues in the fields of the sciences and humanities as to the nature of consciousness and the location of consciousness in the brain or as a field phenomenon, in the Vedic tradition, consciousness has been understood and continues to be articulated as an infinite field of intelligence at the basis of all forms of existence. This infinite field of intelligence is accessible to human awareness, being the very nature of the mind and the structuring dynamics of the physiology-from the DNA, to the cell, tissues, organs, and to the whole body and its sophisticated functioning. This two-part volume, The Big Fish: Consciousness as Structure, Body and Space, considers in Part One the Vedic approach to consciousness, specifically referencing Maharishi Vedic Science, and discusses themes pertinent to the arts, including perception and cognition, memory as awareness, history and culture, artistic performance and social responsibility, observatory instruments as spaces and structures to enhance consciousness, and, beyond metaphor, architectural sites as multi-layered enclosures of the brain detailed in the Shrimad Devi Bhagavatam and, as cosmic habitat or Vastu aligned to the celestial bodies. Presenting some more general consciousness-based readings, Part Two includes essays by various authors on Agnes Martin and her views on art, perfection and the "Classic", unified field based education and freedom of expression versus censorship in art, prints from the Renaissance to the contemporary era as allegories of consciousness, the work of Australian artist Michael Kane Taylor as beyond a modern /postmodern dichotomy, the photographic series The Ocean of Beauty by Mark Paul Petrick referencing the Vedic text the Saundarya-Lahari, a Deleuzian analysis of the dual-screen multi-arts work Reverie I, and an account of the making of Reverie II, a single-screen video projection inspired by the idea of dynamics of awareness. This book, therefore, presents a broad range of interests and reading while offering a unique, yet profoundly transformative perspective on consciousness.

Sri Vidya
Editorial Reviews
Sri Vidya contains the discourses given by Amma during a six-day meditation retreat in her Penusila Ashram. During this retreat, Amma focused on various topics significant in the ancient tradition of Sri Vidya, the art and science of merging in the eternal radiance of Divine Mother's supreme consciousness. From this Book: "The literal meaning of the name Khadgamala is "sword" plus "garland." Khadga is kanti, radiance, effulgence. Mala is curves, strands, waves of that effulgence. When we put these two words together, what do we get? The names of the energies in the Sri Chakra. They are like waves and curves around the Sri Yantra. The names in the Khadgamala Stotram extolling the supreme Goddess are not ordinary names. They are powerful mantras--they are kanti chaitanya rupa, effulgent embodiments of divine awareness. The Khadgamala is a beautiful garland of names extolling the one supreme light!" "The fourth and most important action of this divine Sikha Devi chakra is that it helps the kundalini to ascend from chakra to chakra. There are many interconnections among the innumerable chakras in our body, and many hidden yogic secrets in Sri Vidya. Powerful bijakshara mantras are given to Sri Vidya practitioners so that they can enhance the chakras by concentrating on the sacred seed letters. When the kundalini reaches the ajna chakra with the help of the Sikha Devi chakra, the aspirant is completely aborbed in deep meditation and sees everything as universal light!"
